Industrial engineer and specialized in organizational systems with a MA in European Business and one of the first 30 Biomimicry Professionals in the World. In 2002 Hugo started his career working in Marketing and Sales in Europe and Mexico in the Consumer Goods Sector for companies such as Unilever, Nike and Kimberly Clark.
Communication and Marketing specialist with a MA in Euro-Asian Business and International Management worked in Marketing and sales in New York, Paris, Madrid, Singapore, Nigeria and Mexico mainly in the Consumer goods industry for companies such as Case Logic and Grupo Bimbo and the information industry in companies such as France2 and AFA Press.
Together they self-financed a research Project in 2007 finding cross sector collaboration opportunities in Latin America and they specialized in Inclusive Business. As a result they started in 2008 their consultancy organization in Mexico giving Marketing, Systems, Innovation and Impact Evaluation & Management to organizations from the private, public and social sector.
In 2012, they founded BIOMIMIKA, a biomimicry studio and developed their first Biomimicry4Community Project in El Cuyo, Yucatán and held educational activities around bio-inspired activities mixing Art, Innovation and Nature. They also launched Habitat Biomimika : the first Biomimic Global Learning Network which gathers every 2 years certified biomimics from over the globe in a specific ecosystem to tackle nowadays problems and finding solutions bio-inspired.
In 2015, Hugo and Camille are building their TechStartup in Belgium. They are creating a new information system based on Biomimicry 3.8 life’s principles.
